What is RAPA

A non-profit civic theatre group established in 2002 and incorporated in February 2003. RAPA is based in the northern suburbs of Sydney and is an association for its members.

What are the objectives of RAPA?

• develop creative talent in the areas of writing, performance, theatre, dance.
• bring new and innovative theatre works to the stage
• support the development of new theatre works written by local artists
• develop local youth in theatre
• provide an opportunity for local people to see quality theatre productions and to participate in theatre in a professional theatre environment

Who can join RAPA

Anyone who is interested in participating in theatre either on stage or behind the scenes

What can you do with RAPA?

• Performers : sing, dance, act,
• Musicians: we need rehearsal pianists, musical directors, musicians to play in our musicals, etc
• Stage crew: stage managers and crew, set designers & builders, etc
• Production crew: get involved in lighting, sound, graphic designers, artists, etc
• Performances: have fun front of house
• General: administrative help, fundraising, everything!
• Directors, musical directors and choreographers
